The 2015 second regular meeting of IRRSG held at Gakushi-Kaikan in Tokyo

2015/07/16

The 2015 second regular meeting of IRRSG (the 23rd regular meeting of the International Rare metal & Recycling Study Group) was held at Gakushi-Kaikan in Tokyo on 9 July 2015. Although it was raining and the meeting start time was earlier than usual (from 15:00- ), nearly 90 participants attended the meeting to hear total 6 interesting lectures (*the largest number so far). Again, I would like to thank all the participants for the attendance.

The digest of the IRRSG at Gakushi-Kaikan is as follows.

写真 Thank you for coming to the 23rd regular meeting of IRRSG today.
While it’s been raining so long in Japan, Greek and China have caused economic concerns at once in the market. So, today’s meeting lecture will be timely in a sense.
Despite of the bad weather, many people have attended this meeting. Thank you very much again.
Where more practical professionals are joining is the distinctive characteristic of the IRRSG compared to other study groups.
Today’s lineup and schedule are as follows.
And, today’s MC is Ms. Machika Kubo of Argus Media Ltd. who played a nice MC also at the end of last year. Argus Media also provided the envelopes used this time. Thank you for your support with Argus Media as with IRRSG.

According to Mr. Ito’, crude oil prices will not rise so much ranging at $50-90 per barrel. The increase in supply from Middle East will not make an effect soon. It would take one or two years.

The third lecture was “Breakthrough of the electric furnace automotive steel sheet (towards systemic circulation in eastern Asia)” given by lecturer, Mr. Eizaburo Nakanishi, Technical Development Department of Tokyo Steel Co., Ltd.
